Demo Reel 2025

This video showcases a selection of my recent work in 2D and 3D animation, modeling, rigging, lighting, and camera movement.
It features both narrative and technical exercises, created primarily using Toon Boom Harmony, Autodesk Maya, and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
The reel aims to highlight my versatility across different areas of production and my ability to integrate them into visually and narratively driven projects.

Just a dream

Traditional 2D animation project created frame by frame in Toon Boom Harmony.
The main focus was on the use of editing masks to control element visibility, along with camera movements to add depth and dynamism to the scene.
The animation was developed using frame-by-frame techniques and an optimized layer structure to streamline editing and visual control.

Bad ending

This project focuses on the implementation of motion capture and the design of dramatic lighting centered on the main character.
A downloaded 3D model was rigged by assigning a custom bone structure and performing weight painting.
Multiple animation clips were merged and cleaned, followed by the addition of cinematic lighting and camera movements.
The project also incorporates the use of constraints, along with both IK and FK rigging systems.

Gym Shark

3D modeling project created in Autodesk Maya, with textures created by me in Substance 3D Painter and later imported into the model.
The main focus was on clean, optimized geometry and detailed materials applied using PBR maps.

A volar

Traditional 2D animation created frame by frame.
The main goal of this project was to apply the fundamental principles of animation — such as anticipation, squash & stretch, follow-through, arcs, and exaggeration — to achieve fluid and expressive motion.
Editing masks were used to manage layer visibility, and camera movements were added to bring depth and visual dynamism to the scene.

Bad luck

Traditional 2D animation created frame by frame in Toon Boom Harmony.
This short and cartoonish project tells the story of an unlucky shaman.
The animation was built using frame-by-frame techniques, with an emphasis on expressive gestures and comedic timing.
Staging, and visual rhythm were developed with a focus on visual storytelling and personality-building.

Limpieza

Frame-by-frame 2D animation with a narrative and comedic focus.
This exercise tells the story of a robot who gets upset upon seeing a bucket out of place. When he tries to clean it up with a mop, he accidentally splashes himself with water — causing his own explosion.
The ending adds an ironic twist: the bucket remains untouched, and the mop simply falls to the side.
The animation was hand-drawn using Toon Boon Harmony frame-by-frame techniques, with a focus on expression, comedic timing, and visual storytelling within a single shot.
